email: [email protected]
Schedule: First semester I will be teaching at the main campus 1st – 3rd periods so before school will be the best time to catch up at the main campus. I will be teaching at the Freshman Campus 5th period, so after school on Monday is going to be the best time to get extra help and time on the computers if you are a freshman. I will be traveling during my prep 4th period.
Parent Volunteer Letter: Please try to get your parents involved. It will make this class a richer experience.
Google Classroom: I use Google Classroom to post all assignments so creating a parent account can keep you informed.
Curriculum Night Presentation: I hope to see you at this event, but if you can't make it here is my presentation.
Syllabus: Please sign and return it within the first two weeks so I can check out gear to your child.

Tardy Policy
Tardiness – A student shall be in class on time. The classroom teacher tracks tardies by semester.
Teachers may set their own classroom expectations for tardies.
Recommended consequences:
2-4 tardies: 30 Minute Detention
5-6 tardies: 1 hour detention, parent notified
7-8 tardies: 2 hours of detention
9 tardies: Friday School
10 tardies: Friday School, parent/administrator conference
Additional Offenses: Possible modified schedule; STS; LTS
Professionalism
You will be expected to be engaged during all class meetings and conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful to your peers, instructor and the learning environment. Attendance will be taken every class period. Your first tardy is a warning and then you will start earning detention. In the event of an absence, it is your responsibility to find out what was covered and make up the work. Look on Google Classroom!
Online Grades: This gives you access to attendance and assignment information. There is a link off our high schools web site at www.mountsihighschool.com. You should have the username and password. Don’t worry about missing assignments, only assignments that have ZERO. Most assignments can be redone for a higher score if you earned a D or below.
Google Drive/Gmail: This is where students should be storing files and the email they should be checking for school communications.
